OnePlus 6 with 19:9 display & notch reveals in AnTuTu benchmark

It’s clear from OnePlus that they gonna launch 2 flagship devices every year. Last year they launched OnePlus 5 in June & OnePlus 5T in November. They might follow the same with the next series, we have already come across a OnePlus 6 leak with notch & iPhone X type design.

Here’s an interesting leak from Android central, the new leak reveals AnTuTu benchmark scores of possible OnePlus 6 with codenamed A6000. It’s also clear that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The interesting point is the AnTuTu benchmark score ( 276510 ) which tops the list. My OnePlus 5T 8 GB RAM version has a score of 194020.

OnePlus 6 AnTuTu benchmark scores

OnePlus 5T featured an 18:9 display this device might come with 19:9 display, this might be an adjustment for the notch at the top which will effectively be an 18:9 display with a notch.

OnePlus 5T is one of the smoothest smartphones I have ever used & Oreo made it smoother & lag free. So with Snapdragon 845 & with such benchmark scores, OnePlus might again score big in the flagship segment. Though we can’t always rely on benchmark scores without testing the phone in real. This might feature a glass back design with possible inclusion of wireless charging, OnePlus X was the last one from OnePlus to use glass back design.

Though notch didn’t work well with iPhone X users the adaption of the notch to Android devices is something to be worried about. Most of the brands already adapting notch designs, Asus already released a phone ( Zenfone 5 ) at MWC & Huawei will be following the same pattern with some of the upcoming devices.

As long as the users don’t have any problem with copied/inspired design from iPhone’s there will be no problem for brands but this might possibly kill the brand’s image in the future by just following the Apple devices designs & features rather than going for a new one.
